The pols night continues with three fiddle duos playing for you to dance.
From Verdal come the fiddle phantoms Einar Olav and Gjermund Larsen. The duo is widely known for their driving dance performance with songs from the pols repertoire in Inntrøndelag.
From Engerdal and Røros come Sigrid Stubsveen and Ingeborg Ulberg Sommer. They have played together since they met at the folk music club in Vinstra and have a joy of playing that is easily contagious on the dance floor. Ingeborg has immersed herself in the fiddle traditions from the Røros region and Sigrid plays slåtte-music and traditions from Engerdal and the surrounding area.
From Follo come the duo Jonathan Jansson and Marte Haltli. They play three-bar slåtter from several traditional areas, but have in the last year immersed themselves in the tradition from Finnskogen through the project "Folk Sessions Skogfinsk". The duo recently won the prize for "best dance performance" at Distriktskappleiken in Oslo.
The dance concert has a limited number of tickets to ensure good dancing space.
