We are located inside the old Schous quarter at the lower end of Grünerløkka. The venue usually opens to the public one hour before the event starts.

Riksscena is open to the public in connection with events. See our programme pages for opening hours on a particular day.
The office is normally staffed between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Ring the bell at the staff entrance at the far right-hand side of the building.

Ticket sales open one hour before the event starts. Tickets can also be purchased through our website and from TicketCo.
We encourage visitors to use public transport. Trams 12, 13 and 15 stop at Schous Plass, while trams 17 and 18 stop at Heimdalsgata, just a couple of minutes' walk from Riksscena.
Tickets can be purchased on our website for each individual event, and through TicketCo.
Tickets can also be purchased at the box office, which is staffed in connection with events. Normally, ticket sales open one hour before the concert or event starts.
You can also purchase a season pass to Riksscena, or gift vouchers for tickets with us!
The SEASON PASS gives you free admission to all concerts and performances produced solely by Riksscena!*
We reserve a limited number of tickets for season-pass holders until 30 minutes before the concert starts. Tickets can also be collected in advance from our box office when it is open in connection with our events.
Please note that some concerts may sell out!
How to collect tickets for individual events at our box office:
The first time you visit us after purchasing a season pass, bring your proof of purchase and ID to the box office. We will then make a physical card for you, which you can use to collect tickets at the box office for the rest of the season. The season pass is personal, and ID must always be shown when using the card.
*The season pass is not valid for certain events; these are clearly marked on our website and in the programme. The season pass does not apply to events marked (IKKE SESONGKORT).

There are parking garages with access from Herslebs gate. We recommend using public transport if you are able to - both for the environment and for your wallet.
Yes, we have a companion scheme. If you have an official companion certificate, you can contact post@riksscena.no, and your companion will receive a free ticket.
Yes, you can purchase gift vouchers for tickets to Riksscena through TicketCo for any amount you choose. The perfect gift!
We sell tickets through our website. See the ticket information and link to TicketCo under each event.
It is also possible to buy tickets at our box office. Riksscena's box office is staffed in connection with our events, and you can purchase tickets for the day's event or buy tickets in advance for future events.

Most of our events serve alcohol, and we therefore normally have an age limit of 18. This does not apply to LilleRiksen or youth events.

Riksscena sells season passes (see above). We offer discounted prices for students/seniors, audiences under 23, and, in some cases, holders of a Scenekort.

We encourage you to purchase tickets well in advance, and season-pass holders can collect their tickets in advance. Please only collect a ticket that you intend to use!
If there are uncollected tickets reserved for season-pass holders, these will be sold at the box office 30 minutes before the concert starts. You can join the queue one hour before the concert starts.
If there is capacity, additional uncollected tickets will be sold immediately after the concert starts.
- Main Stage: 287 seated in the tiered seating and 400 standing.
- Club Stage: 70 seated in café-style seating and 100 standing.
- Intimate Stage: 50 seated in café-style seating and 100 standing.
Riksscena has 32 mm pigmented, hard-waxed pine flooring suitable for professional dance in two of its three halls.
Riksscena has a bar serving drinks and some snacks, which is normally open in connection with our events.
The restaurant Txotx, on the other side of the square, has created a concert menu for Riksscena's guests.
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund tickets that have already been sold. Contact post@riksscena.no if you have any questions about this.
At present, Riksscena does not have a staffed or supervised cloakroom, but there is an opportunity to hang your outerwear at your own risk.

Lower Grünerløkka has plenty of pleasant restaurants and bars, in Thorvald Meyers gate, Trondheimsveien and Markveien.
Inside the Schous quarter you will find, among others, Txotx, which has a special concert menu for Riksscena's guests, as well as Trattoria Popolare and Schævs Pizzeria.
