Local deep dives
The Norge Rundt series takes deep dives into music and dance traditions from all across Norway!
These local focus weekends have been a flagship part of Riksscena’s programme for many years. They give valleys and traditional regions the opportunity to unfold in a mini-festival featuring dance parties, concerts, workshops and talks. The programme is created together with tradition bearers from the region, and local music and dance groups travel to Riksscena to join the celebration.
Since 2016, we have travelled to Målselv, Central Norway, Hordaland, Hardanger, Setesdal, Valdres, Rjukan and Fjordane, Numedal and Gudbrandsdalen.
