Folk Sessions Vocal

Four rising vocal stars in the folk sky

Folk Sessions Vocal is a talent development programme for young folk singers, focusing on individual artistic development, in-depth exploration of vocal traditions and the development of their own artistic practices.

The participants meet for gatherings and receive individual mentoring from tradition bearers, singers and coaches. In 2025, their work was presented, among other ways, through the quartet’s own concert at Riksscena as part of the Kvedarkraft festival.

Ungt songtreff

As part of Folk Sessions Vocal, a dedicated programme has also been established for younger singing talents, with gatherings and opportunities to meet established performers and tradition bearers.
