Treasure Hunt: 12.00,13.30 & 15.00

Bhanghra
Bhangra is a folk dance from Punjab in India. It originated during the harvest celebration Vaisakhi, which marks spring and good crops. The dance is done in groups, with jumps, clear rhythm and movements that are contagious. If you love dancing and like good rhythms, this is something for you. Richa and the children from Indian Rhythms will show you the steps and invite you to join in. Bhangra is a party - join in!

Calabash Tales
In parts of Africa, a special fruit called a calabash grows. When dried, it can be used to make the stringed instrument ngoni, among other things. This is often used by a griot - a storyteller who passes songs and stories on through generations. Solo is a griot himself from Burkina Faso, and together with Sarjo and Bafana he invites you into Calabash Tales. Here you will hear the story of a king who becomes jealous of the griot, how his village is suddenly in danger of losing its stories, and how a calabash magically changes everything.

Tango Corazón
A tango concert with two virtuoso musicians – each with their own unique path into the world of tango. Leonardo was raised in Buenos Aires, with a mother who danced tango, while Karl comes from Drammen. He is classically trained, but was captivated by tango during a language trip to Argentina many years ago.
