Sex Magick Wizards is a Norwegian-Sami quartet that blends psychedelic rock, free jazz and yoik together in hypnotic and ritualistic soundscapes. In recent years, they have released three critically acclaimed albums and stormed underground scenes around Europe, where they have become notorious for their intense and unpredictable performances. The upcoming double album "Suola ja Noaidi" (The Thief and The Shaman), inspired by the old Northern Sami yoik text of the same name, explores various aspects of colonization, spirituality and cultural resilience.
